Flintham Junior Cricket - Our Approach:

Our relationship with Flintham CC is still relatively new, having started last year.  We appreciate that this means that our approach to coaching may be new to you.  Please take a moment to read about our approach here and how it gives you and your child or children  a good degree of flexibility as we strive to offer the best we can for all concerned.

We know that not everyone can attend every session.  Other commitments will get in the way from time to time.  Indeed, some existing regular commitments may even clash with our main schedules for the coaching session that appeals the most to you.  To that end, we offer great flexibility.  If you want a child one or more different sessions in any week - or even all of them - you only need to pay the once.  We will prefer that your child does attend the "main" scheduled session (the ones noted on the calendar list for each of the coaching sessions), but we're very open to flexing that where it helps you.

 

For example, we understand that it may be necessary for some of the Under 12 Hardball Team, whose main coaching session is on a Wednesday, to instead train with the Friday Incrediball / Hardball Squad instead.  Or Cubs / Scouts / Brownies / Guides may clash with a Friday session, so we'll do our best to accommodate those affected on a Wednesday. And some children may wish to train more than one day a week.

Indeed, it may be that some children will benefit from attending more that one type of coaching session a week.  If we agree that's best for your child, we'll only ask you to pay for one coaching fee no matter that more than one type of session is attended.

Please just talk to us.  Our aim is to get to know each of the children on our programmes and help them to the best of our ability.

Each Group/Squad will have a designated coach plus assistants as required.​

​

Break week:  Please note that there will be no sessions during the half term week.  This applies for any sessions that would be otherwise held between Saturday 23rd May and Sunday 31st May.  Other breaks may become necessary as required.

​

New this year: We will be starting a new Girls under 11 Incrediball Team.  This is a new venture for us.  Some of the girls will train with the mixed hardball team on Wednesdays and some on Fridays.  They will come together on Sunday afternoons for training or matches, except during any break weeks.  There will also be an option to come on Friday sessions as well.  Our aim is to give competitive opportunities to all squad players dependent on attitude, attendance, effort and progress.

 

Please note: In line with our approach (highlighted above), the schedule attached to the booking schedule for this team does not show the Friday sessions or the Sunday sessions.​​

Please use the "Book Now" buttons to subscribe to the session or sessions of your choosing.  If you are buying for more than one child, you can add each session to your basket and then pay just once for everything in your basket.
