Summer Camps 2026
Held at Flintham Cricket Club
About our Summer Cricket Camps:
Our summer cricket camps benefit from our coaching experience to provide our juniors with a great mix of skills development, experience and an enjoyable sense of real achievement.
Our coaches are all ECB Qualified, DBS checked and first aid trained. Our player to coach ratio is no more than 8:1, so every junior gets individual attention.
We offer a spread of sessions and you are able to book on as many or as few as best suits you and your child or children.
The Camps:
Kwik Cricket
The ideal introduction to the great game of cricket for primary age children. Using a softball and light plastic bats and stumps there is no need for protective equipment, making the game accessible and fun!
*Incrediball
A recently introduced transitional phase between Kwik Cricket and traditional Hardball. Protective equipment is used which give the players experience with pads, helmets etc but the ball is relatively soft featuring a durable outer layer and a foam core, it has a stitched seam allowing the early stages of swing and spin bowling to develop.
*Incrediball : Hardball
Once players have developed confidence with the Incrediball we will guide them through the transition to traditional hardball cricket. It is very much individualised; some players stay in Incrediball for a whole season whilst some are ready for hardball after a comparatively short while.
*Hardball Development
Once players are competent and confident with the hardball we will develop their techniques in Fielding, Bowling and Batting to whatever level their ability and aspiration warrants.
*Although players are encouraged to bring their own equipment if they have it, all protective equipment is available to borrow which avoids that expense until the young players have had chance to see if they like the sport.
** Boys playing Incrediball or Hardball will need their own abdominal protector.
